Certificate of Deposits (CD)

A Certificate of Deposit is a type of savings account that is intended to invest money for a specific period of time. There are several different CD terms available at The Peoples Savings Bank. Our terms range from 182 days up to 60 months. Interest can be compounded, transferred to a checking or savings account or you can receive a check.

Traditional & Roth Individual Retirement Accounts   (IRA)

An IRA is a retirement plan account that provides some tax advantages for retirement savings. Traditional IRA contributions are often tax-deductible, all transactions and earnings within the IRA have no tax impact, and withdrawals at retirement are taxed as income (except for those portions of the withdrawal corresponding to contributions that were not deducted).

A Roth IRA is a retirement plan account where contributions are made with after-tax assets, all transactions within the IRA have no tax impact, and withdrawals are usually tax-free.

There are several different IRA terms available at The Peoples Savings Bank. Our terms range from 182 days up to 60 months. Interest is compounded quarterly. IRA distributions can be transferred to a checking or savings account or you can receive a check. NO penalties on IRAS.
